FAQ
how does it work?
You’ve got three options when buying from our bulk food selection.
Firstly, you can bring your own containers and there are two sets of scales in the shop and plenty of Sharpies. Just weigh the empty container, write the weight on there, and we’ll subtract that from the total weight at the counter.
Secondly, you can use any of the free, clean, pre-weighed jars from our shelves.
Thirdly, you can help yourself to the recycled brown paper bags kicking around.
On each of the containers is a code (e.g. 655) – write that on whatever you are using and then we can run it through the till quickly and accurately. Badda bing, badda boom.

Our deliveries from Black Cockatoo Bakery arrive Wednesday to Sunday.

Yes! Bring us your clean jars! Ideally, without labels. Having free, clean, pre-weighed jars on our shelves means customers can take their goods home without using any virgin materials, which is pretty great news.

Yes, the majority of our fruit and veg is Australian and certified organic. Anything hyper-local from local gardens will not be certified organic but is pesticide free. You get it.
